Achilles: Legends Untold - full release!

Image
Today is the day when  Achilles: Legends Untold leaves the Early Access stage and enters the glorious full release!  It has been crazy 3 years during which I was coding a lot of game systems, tools, fixing bugs and trying my best to provide the best experience both for players and colleagues which I was working with. In overall I think the game turned out great. The game is available on Steam , Epic Games Store ,  Xbox Series X/S  and PlayStation 5 .

The Neon Hook - a Lost Relic Games Game Jam entry

Image
I have had a very long pause in making games for game jams and the Lost Relic Games Game Jam 2022 was a great opportunity to jump back into the creativity wagon and just do some coding for pure fun and to challenge myself.

I’ve got s**t to do!

At the end of January an another Global Game Jam had place. This time I decided to participate alone, as a one man army. This time, the jam was pretty different than the previous ones.

Another year, another Huuuge Game Jam! This time the topic was " The Butterfly Effect " and there were a lot of great games (and great food and great fun and great people too!). Me and my colleague decided to do a little logic game where you have to divide a bullet to make it's parts fly to all of the targets. At some point one flutter of the butterfly’s wings generate a bullethell on the screen! Here’s a sneak peak for a game, but DO NOT WATCH it if you want to solve the puzzles by yourself! Ok, so… let’s do some recap! It was a 24h game jam, but we’ve managed to have final gameplay in about 5 hours, so this is a damn pretty good time! The rest of the time we’ve spent on making it juicy and bloomy. We’ve received an honorable mention for a well-made game, sadly – with no award, but there were a lot of fun games that grasped the topic much better than us. You can check them all here . The game runs thanks to Unreal Engine 4.20.3 and the cool thing was t...

Sergeant Transmission: Pigeons of War

Image
Another year – another Global Game Jam! It lasted 48h and this year topic was: “Transmission”. Me and my colleague wanted to show the old way of message transmission – through the post pigeons, during the World War. We’ve also accepted the challange given to us by the other game jammer – to make a multiplayer game.

Real Boxing 5th anniversary!

Image
It has already been 5 years since the " Real Boxing " franchise started to rock in the mobile world. Wow! I personally wasn’t involved in this project from the very beginning, but still – I put some of my work and soul into it in updates of "Real Boxing" ( did you like tournaments? You’re welcome ;) ), but mostly into the "Real Boxing 2" in general. Both projects were technologically challenging and we’ve learned a lot from them. Using this knowledge we’re brewing some even more tasty stuff right now… But you will see it soon :) For now – it is time to celebrate. Thanks for playing!

Tanking Through Unknown – the Slavic Game Jam 2017 game

Image
Yet, the another game jam! This time it was the 3rd edition of the Slavic Game Jam in Warsaw. Lots of Slavs, Nordics and bunch of other awesome people and games. Oh boy, there were a lot of games! About 86 if I remember correctly. You can check all of them here (the winner is Dot . if you wanna just play in the best one). But here… I’m gonna write some about my entry.

Failtifex Studio – the AmJam 2017 game

Image
Another Game Jam has passed and oh boy, what a jam! This time it was organized by a polish gamedev team Artifex Mundi in their office and a lot of the best developers did gather to make games within 42 hours. This game jam theme was: “Fail Fast” .

Lunar Maze

So there was a game jam lately. A really Huuuge Game Jam I must say. During 24 hours we had to make a game based on a specific theme. The theme was… well… It was nothing specific. The only thing we’ve got was this image:

Real Boxing 2 Creed is live!

Image
It is over. It is done. Oh boy, that was a hell of a project. The “Real Boxing 2 Creed” game, in which I was a humble engine programmer, hit the store and, oh man, it hit it hard!
